Madmen with Markers

Scenes from a very fun holiday party I did at the Palm Restaurant in New York City (http://www.thepalm.com/Palm-One), surrounded by cartoons and caricatures by well known names like Walt Kelly (Pogo), Jerry Scott (Nancy), Fred Laswell (Snuffy Smith) and many more. Really fascinating and inspiring to see so much classic cartooning on these walls. The caricatures were more like portraits, and I'm not sure who the artist was. But that doesn't matter - I got to work with two great artists, and friends, Dan Almariei (website link not working, but seriously, Google him!), and Christopher Vlahakis (who came all the way from Boston! http://madmanwithamarker.com/). Fun, fun, fun, and totally worth the 2 hour train ride from Philly.

Christmas Card done for the Miller family - who sent me a big box of cookies that I'm still trying to work off a year later!

 Drew this for a surgeon who was retiring, who was instrumental in changing the lives of many people for the better!

Catching up with Caricatoonz!

Long overdue live stuff! Where've I been the past year? I didn't go anywhere, just got busy and put this blog on the backburner while I prepare my new website...and I got lazy. Well, I'm back and I got some catching up to do, so here we go....

These ones are from a senior citizens rest home in Allentown, PA. Great people!

Next, these two were done at a University of Penn student/parent event...

The next and last bunch for now are taken from a 40th birthday party, where the fun was flowing in a, well, very alcohol-friendly way...the birthday boy got drawn at least 4 times, and each one successively more bizarre as promised. Awesome fun!
